Portugal: Price Crash Follow Up

Rising interest rates set by the European Central Bank have made monthly payments rise quickly in 2022. Portugal has about one short term rental unit for every 12 residents in the country. During covid or when tourism slumps, these units go back to longterm rentals or on the market for sale. Either way, rising interest rates, a possible recession or changes in tourist habits could bring a significant number of housing units into the market.
